Slovenia’s Luka Dončić won’t play exhibition vs. Team USA on Saturday

MALAGA, Spain — Luka Dončić has chosen not to play for Slovenia tonight against the United States, his national team announced Saturday, citing a blow he took to his left knee in the second quarter Friday against Spain.
The announcement is not a surprise — Dončić, one of the best players in the world for the Dallas Mavericks, simply should not be playing in exhibition games on consecutive nights, for free.
