Schroder dropped a game-high 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting in the gold-medal matchup versus Serbia.

The 29-year-old averaged 19.1 points and 6.1 assists across eight appearances, finishing in the top 15 of both categories. He shot 32.7% from beyond the arc and 43.5% from the field overall.

Schroder inked a two-year, $36-million contract with Toronto this summer after spending the previous campaign with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The former first-round pick is expected to assume the Raptors’ starting point guard role following the offseason departure of Fred VanVleet.
