The NBA has set opening night and Christmas Day matchups for the 2023-24 season, league sources confirmed to The Athletic on Tuesday. Here’s what you need to know:
Opening night will feature the Los Angeles Lakers at the Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns at the Golden State Warriors on Oct. 24 on TNT, per league sources.
On Christmas Day the Knicks will host the Bucks, the 76ers will be on the road against the Heat, the Lakers will host the Celtics, the Mavericks travel to take on the Suns and the Warriors will be on the road against the Nuggets, according to league sources.
