Bronny James discharged from hospital after suffering cardiac arrest

USC freshman Bronny James was discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Thursday after successfully being treated for a sudden cardiac arrest. Here’s what you need to know:

James, the son of NBA star LeBron James, suffered a cardiac arrest while practicing Monday, a James family spokesperson confirmed to The Athletic in a statement Tuesday.
The 18-year-old arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center fully conscious, neurologically intact and stable according to a statement by doctor Merije Chukumerije. He was sent home Thursday to rest.
